Handball is proving a big hit at schools, colleges and universities across the country, and the EHA has quickly grown from a small set-up with part-time staff to a busy office with full-time staff working in areas such as grassroots development, nationwide competitions, coaching and refereeing awards which are all designed to make handball the legacy sport of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
