THE National Schools handball finals take place later this month, where the best teams from across the country will do battle for the national titles.
The event on Saturday June 25 is at the Aldersley Leisure Village in Wolverhampton from 10am, and is the culmination of months of regional heats, trials and training sessions at schools from across the country.
From 72 teams entered, just 17 remain in the finals.
In the Under-13 girls event it is between Siddal Moor Sports College, Parrs Wood High School and Barking Abbey School, while in the Under-13 boys event the competitors are Royton and Crompton High School, Woolwich Poly High School, Harris Boys’ Academy (East Dulwich) and Cardinal Griffin Catholic High School.
The Under-15 girls teams are Helenswood School, Cardinal Griffin Catholic High School,
Birchwood Community High School and Blacon High School.
